<p><!--block-->I feel like I have been in a classroom my entire life. My mother was a teacher and Director, and my after-school hours as a child were often spent in an early childhood education classroom. It was very natural for me to take up this profession when I went to college as it had always been a part of who I was growing up. I have a love of reading and language which is why my minor was in Spanish and I taught myself some American Sign Language - not enough to be fluent, but it was a hobby that I can now share with young children. I have always found myself to be creative and enjoy creating curriculum and activities for other children to do and now as a Director, I can share that knowledge and love of creating with new teachers. My goal is to create an environment where children can be loved and nurtured and their natural interest and awe of the world can be safely cultivated to create a solid foundation for early learning and a love of learning.</p>
